WHY BRASS
Brass Outlasts Zinc. Every Single Season.
Most bargain adapters are zinc alloy or aluminium. Their threads strip the first season and the body splits in a hard freeze. SARANICE fittings are machined from solid brass: it resists corrosion, still holds a thread after years of on-and-off, and will not crack when the temperature drops.
It costs us more. It is the only way we will sell it.

Why Your Garden Hose Leaks at the Connection (and How to Fix It)
A leaking hose connection is usually a washer, a seating problem or twist load. Diagnose it in 60 seconds, then fix it for good with the right brass part.

Common Questions
Fit, Threads & Sizing
Will this fit my garden hose?
If your hose and your spigot are US standard — that is, 3/4" GHT (garden hose thread) — any SARANICE GHT adapter screws straight on. GHT is the flat-faced thread with a rubber washer, used on virtually every American and Canadian outdoor tap.
GHT or NPT — which one do I need?
GHT has a straight, flat-faced thread and seals with a washer. NPT is a tapered pipe thread that seals with tape or paste and is found on indoor plumbing, pressure washers and most RV water inlets. To join the two, you need a GHT-to-NPT adapter, not an extra washer.
Do I need thread tape?
No. Every SARANICE GHT connection seals on a rubber washer, so hand-tightening is enough. Tape is only used on NPT (tapered) threads. Over-tightening with a wrench is the fastest way to split a zinc fitting — brass simply does not need it.
Will brass survive a winter freeze?
Brass will not crack the way zinc alloy does, but trapped water still expands. Disconnect the hose, drain the adapter, and leave the spigot open. For RVs, blow the lines with air rather than filling them with antifreeze.
